Does anyone else find it odd that anti-vaxxers seem to be concerned with poor safety regulations and the influence of money in pharmaceuticals/government, yet they are frequently Trump supporters? Where are the anti-vaxxers that support socialized research and medicine?

I notice plenty of anti-vaccine sentiment on both sides of the political aisle.

This is true. The prevalence of antivax views is roughly the same on the right and left. However, in recent years antivaxers have been very successful aligning themselves with anti-regulation right wingers.

This appeal by antivaxers to the right was based on appeals to government overreach in mandating vaccines for school entry and "parental rights" in which a patent should be able to refuse vaccines for their children. (Note that the child's right to healthcare figures not at all.)
