Actually, the Soviet Union liberated Auschwitz, as well as Majdanek, Belzec, Sobibor, and Treblinka. Examples of camps liberated by the US include Buchenwald, Dora-Mittelbau, Flossenbürg, Dachau, and Mauthausen. And while it's certainly true that the US played a major role in stopping Nazi-ism, the Soviet Union suffered far longer and more casualties and atrocities at the hands of the Nazis. History is more complicated than our "deplorable" friend knows.

It's also true that the Soviets committed many atrocities as they swept into Germany, including mass rape of German women and girls. Again, history, it's complicated. To defeat the Nazis, we allied ourselves with a murderous dictator whose troops were as brutal as Nazis.
