I agree, people think they are making the best decision for their child when they choose not to vaccinate. They don't trust the science, except for Wakefield. They see him as a victim of the status quo and big pharma's political influence.

Too many parents are provided convincing and rational-sounding misinformation about vaccines, not to mention outright lies and misrepresentation of data. I can't blame overwhelmed parents for trying to make the best decision with what info they've heard.
