Absolutely couldn't disagree more, Dr. Gorski. Preventive Medicine is not alternative and not integrative medicine. It's medicine as Hippocrates intended. Treatment of people with therapeutic lifestyle change should always come before #pharma. I'm sorry we disagree, Dr. Gorski.

It's also direly needed. Health care systems are pretty much unsustainable, over half the adult population diagnosed with chronic disease. On the other hand, a lot of people and companies getting very wealthy on the backs of the sick. Indeed, it's a sick care system.

One thing, Ken, that I will agree with Dr. Gorski on that he says is that you tend to conflate
#integrativemedicine together with#functionalmedicine and#lifestylemedicine. They are different. Only#lifestylemedicine is recognized as the mainstream, the default, others are not.2 replies 1 retweet 2 likes -
FYI, I blocked Ken a long time ago because he got on my nerves in an unproductive fashion. So all I see is you.

Ah, no worries, my friend. The main message is that I called him out on mentioning lifestyle medicine together with integrative and functional, and he acknowledged this which I appreciate. If I were you I would unblock him as he's not a bad person and even open to criticism.

I have him many opportunities. So no.

Sorry you don't agree, but I would submit humbly that I think that both of you have inched through the chasm even if by a little bit which is progress.

Appreciate your efforts Dr. Garg. But there is a fair bit of history here and I'm sure we're still quite a ways apart. He's had numerous opportunities to engage respectfully, the attacks on others drove me away.

We should strive to meet anger with softness, hate with love, and try our best to de-escalate the situation. Not saying we should be walked on either, but whenever possible soften the discussion and agree on common points, which is what I try to do. Sorry didn't work out for you.

Since this conversation includes Ken, I'm muting it now. I'm tired of getting notifications for it.

Oh, dear. @agargmd blocked me. That's kind of lame. All I said was that I was tired of seeing notifications from him in a conversation that included me with someone I'd blocked a long time ago and was therefore going to mute the conversation. C'est la vie.
