This is unlikely to ever happen. The idea of changing the contents of a tweet after people have engaged with it is unsettling.

Any edit function of tweets would be the end of Twitter. Consider it a typo safe-space instead - most people do.

If I dare try to delete a typo all the rest gets deleted as well the delete button goes wild. Reports go unheeded.

Sorry, disagree - there is *way* too much potential for abuse in editing tweets after people have seen or replied to them.
