You’re blind man. Soros is the classic stand in for international Jewish conspiracy that is as predictable as it is unoriginal. This is the same conspiracy being recycled since the Protocols.

Yep. Soros is a stand-in for the Jewish bankers and businessmen who, in the eyes of antisemitic conspiracy theorists, are secretly running the world. It's so mind-numbingly obvious to anyone who's studied the history of antisemitism even a little.

Obviously PL8 hasn’t studied that history.

If you are asking if I have studied holocaust denial? No. I believe like Chomsky said it is ridiculous to give those people air. Nor do I believe every right wing conspiracy theory about soros is linked to anti semitism when many are simply non sense theories about dem operatives

Just like those that go around about the clintons. This might be shocking but it is possible that one individual could be the prominent antagonist for more than one groups conspiracy theories. But thank you for your assumptions.

For Soros it tends to be just that one. And keep in mind
@gorskon has specific expertise here in excess of mine. Since you admit you have not studied this problem maybe you shouldn’t assume you know more than the guy on the frontlines of confronting holocaust denial for 20 years?1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -

It's also a straw man to imply that I've said that the Soros conspiracy theories are ONLY antisemitic. The most common ones are, and many have an antisemitic overlay, but then there are ones that aren't.

Haven’t seen those, in the years I’ve seen Soros conspiracies make the circuit it’s always been relatively explicit, or with a wink and a nod at the populations who believe it to be.

True, but what about the conspiracy theories that claim he was a Nazi collaborator? Or the picture of a Nazi soldier that wasn't him (he was only 14 at the end of the war) being presented as him?

Ahhh. Yeah. I gotcha. I guess I see those as antisemitic as well because they’re part of that pattern of attacking holocaust survivors as inevitable collaborators and thus untrustworthy witnesses.

You could have a point. The antisemitism does taint nearly all the conspiracy theories involving George Soros.
