Trump calls the press the enemy of the people. The Annapolis star gets shot up, a crazy magahat sends bombs to Trumps enemies in the press. Trump himself promotes the Soros/caravan conspiracy, a conspiracy theorist obsessed with it shoots up a synagogue. Who couldve predicted?

So because trump criticized the caravan and this guy didn’t like the caravan, trump is responsible? Is everyone that criticized the caravan then responsible bc that would be the logically consistent conclusion. And a dem supporter recently shot a R congressman. We could do

Trump promoted the conspiracy theory that Soros (read the Jews) was behind it. Those who you can make believe absurdities will commit atrocities. https://thinkprogress.org/donald-trump-george-soros-anti-semitic-conspiracy-theory-7962b3d02a86/ …

You are conflating promoting a conspiracy theory that Soros (the Democrats) are behind it with anti Semitism. This is a pretty big twisting of the story to try and fit a narrative and pre conceived notions.

You’re blind man. Soros is the classic stand in for international Jewish conspiracy that is as predictable as it is unoriginal. This is the same conspiracy being recycled since the Protocols.

He is the classic poltergeist for conspiracy theories about democrats as well. Just like the Koch brothers are for the left. I’m not sure why you keep ignoring this reality.

To be fair the Koch influence on specific oil friendly agendas is well-documented. The link between Soros and the caravan is an absurd fantasy.

Conspiracy theories, with a political bent, are as old as Treponema in this country. There were wild ones after 911. Even a popular documentary

Yep. It's not as though Mark and I haven't been studying and writing about conspiracy theories for a long time, is it?
