You could do this to any academic field, it doesn’t mean the field is wrong. It means that the literature isn’t some pure-as-driven-snow font of wisdom that buffoons such as these expect it to be. It would be nice, but even STEM is full of bullshit.
But it is easier in some fields to publish BS than it is in others. I read their article partially and while I really don't care about their motivations either way, some of the peer review snippets they got were, for the lack of a better word, shocking...
