A mutual follow tweeted this yesterday with the same clear intent. Unfortunately this instance stands out from the other brilliant and hilarious examples of fake papers being published to prove a point. This one has a different point.

If you look at their methods, they submitted a bunch of papers to higher tier journals, revised them when rejected, and then worked their way down to lower tier journals? Is it any wonder that some of the papers (a minority) eventually got accepted?
