I have a BIG problem with this—and all cancer quackery—and that's informed consent. Quacks always overpromise and underestimate the risks. Fair enough. My point was less that the FTC needs to act than that we have a responsibility as a society to combat fraud (and do in many cases like those handled by the FTC), rather than just shrug our collective shoulders and say, “buyer beware.”
