I have a BIG problem with this—and all cancer quackery—and that's informed consent. Quacks always overpromise and underestimate the risks. So would you be OK with it if the parents had taken their child to Burzynski? Because, really, this situation is no different. In fact, it's arguably worse than Burzynski, as there isn't even the pretext of a clinical trial overseen by the FDA.
