Yup. And if they had set it up like maybe that type of bacteria didn't exist that would be one thing. But, Robert Baratheon dies of an infection after being gored in the gut. And Jaime's stump had gangrene after his hand got chopped off so clearly it's a factor.

I thougt I am the only one. Khal Drogo died just because of a little cut wound. Arya was stabbed like crazy and had nothing.

I don't know the whole dragons and walking undead armies and magic and dudes that can steal other dudes faces seems a little more ridiculous. Of course it's all ridiculous when you apply real world physics to a fantasy magical world.
