No. It isn't. It's a win for those who want longer lines at the voting both in the primarily urban areas more likely to vote Democrat. It's a win for those who want to suppress the vote in those areas by making voting more time consuming. You're fooling no one.https://twitter.com/justinamash/status/1037535462783692800 …

This is a huge win in Michigan for equality under the law, fairness in the political process, and independent and third-party candidates. It is a huge blow to partisans in the Republican and Democratic political establishments. https://twitter.com/detroitnews/status/1037502923297697792 …

You’re fooling no one. Straight-ticket voting is designed primarily to make it prohibitively difficult for someone to win running outside of the major parties; it saves little time for partisan voters. To fix long lines, we need more polling places and a longer voting period.

You are celebrating making it harder for people to vote. People are busy, but you want to make voting take longer because it benefits Republicans when fewer people vote.

Anyone politician who wants straight ticket voting wants more sheep voters to stay totally uninformed about the candidates.

There is absolutely no need for straight ticket voting and it should not be on ballots if you believe that people should make educated and researched decisions , every candidate is different every race is different

I think the 60% of America’s voters who are non-partisan and tired of the duopoly might disagree with you, PhD or no. Same with the many Libertarians l, Greens, Rainbows etc. Same with all those D’s and R’s who are sympathetic to the non-partisans & 3rd parties.

Eliminating straight ticket voting is strictly race based....there is nothing about straight ticket voting that prevents 3rd party voting... it does benefit the 2 major parties, but why is it that only the majority old white male party is so against it??
