But back to the story I started with. As is often the case, the child traveled with his parents overseas and came back with the measles. His vaccination status has not (yet) been revealed, but I bet he was unvaccinated. 6/https://abc13.com/health/houston-health-officials-looking-at-possible-measles-case/4070225/ …

More insane is the nurse at
@TexasChildrens, who is a pediatric ICU nurse, reported that the child was really sick. Then she said that even seeing this suffering child hasn't altered her antivax views. She said she still wouldn't vaccinate. 7/Show this thread -
Later, the same nurse commented, "I'm not kidding that I thought about swabbing his mouth and bringing it home to my 13 (year old)." Insanity! 8/

This nurse should not be working in, of all places, a PEDIATRIC ICU! It reminds me of the neonatal intensive care nurse I encountered three and a half weeks ago who was also spewing antivaccine misinformation. 9/https://respectfulinsolence.com/2018/08/03/jeff-noble-kerry-bentivolio-host-antivax/ …
