Reading that article makes me detest Penn even more than I already did after how he treated me at TAM five years ago. He seems to be going out of his way to give people a reason not believe him ("I am an unreliable narrator" and "storytellers are liars.") He's a coward.

I'd seen the criticism about going on Dr. Oz, and Penn has addressed that idea and Tommy Smothers' criticism of going on Glenn Beck a number of times. I can see both sides. He implied that there was something you did at the B&D party. Don't know what it was.

I don't remember that, but if he said that I did something at his party worthy of such abuse, he lied, plain and simple. I basically showed up and hung out for a while, nothing more.

That was pretty harsh. If you wrote that about me and then showed up to an event I was hosting, I'd be pretty upset. Even if you were right on every point. It wasn't very charitable to who's done good work in skepticism.

And Penn could have shown you the same charity. My 2 bit, outside view is there's alot of pride flying around, and not enough charity. It could just be me being sad seeing two people I respect communicating so negatively.
