This judgment against Monsanto is ridiculous. If you want to know why scientists and physicians have such contempt for the legal system when it adjudicates science, here's the latest textbook example, as bad as silicone breast implants in the 1990s.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/jury-orders-monsanto-pay-290m-roundup-trial-n899811 …

You do realize that scientists and physicians testified on the science and treatment in this case, right? The jury didn’t just imagine this stuff. And hey, nice disrespect for juries. They’re a cornerstone of democracy and if not perfect, the best avenue for justice we have.

All the scientific evidence, including tissue culture, rat and mouse studies and human epidemiology, shows it is not carcinogenic, the IARC "finding" was made by excluding data, including the biggest human epidemiological study ever made.

Precisely. The preponderance of evidence is that glyphosate, whatever other issues it might or might cause, is not associated with cancer.

I'm an actually toxicologist who has studied the neuropharmacologist of glyphosate, glyphosate is not carcinogenic. Not in tissue culture not in animals until you reach levels that humans will never be exposed to (and even then in an inconsistent , non dose dependent manner /1
