This judgment against Monsanto is ridiculous. If you want to know why scientists and physicians have such contempt for the legal system when it adjudicates science, here's the latest textbook example, as bad as silicone breast implants in the 1990s.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/jury-orders-monsanto-pay-290m-roundup-trial-n899811 …

Sorry for a tweetstorm - I'm just rather annoyed (to put it mildly) at the way the IARC's outmoded and outdated system is being used by tobacco smoking, alcohol swilling & organic-Ag promoting buffoons to push the naturalisitc fallacies. (Thank you for caring though!)
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

My understanding was that IARC said Roundup could cause cancer in farm workers not wearing protective clothing. Is that true?

Not so far as I’m aware. Except rug IARC, which has been shown to be “iffy” here, no other agency believes glyphosate is carcinogenic. The surfactants are a different story but again, Monsanto appears to have been misquoted in public. Was never a fair trial.
