I’ve never not agreed with you before!
The Motion Picture is the best one, but I suspect my Star Trek favorites are based on emotional association rather than quality of acting (ha ha), cinematography or plot. This subjectivity makes any discussion of which is best undebatable! -
The Motion Sickness had to walk uphill against water to present the redesign & update things for 1979 audiences. I liked the Directors Cut DVD with the added effects footage but wished they added the red-shirt getting smoked in the bridge intruder scene like they storyboarded.
