A scientific theory is something with a lot of data behind it. Like gravity - or herd immunity. In lay terms, a well established fact.

Are you saying you can't back up your claim with evidence, either from the scientific literature or summarized in a lay format? Quelle surprise! You made the claim. It's not up to me to prove it for you. It's up to you. If you can't, then there's no reason to take you seriously.

He constantly looks at antivaccine claims. That’s necessary to debunk them. Looking at both sides doesn’t mean he has to accept claims that are clearly incorrect.
