Through it all, the only thing that prevented me from having to stop blogging and/or dump my Twitter account was the support of my institutions. The culture of academia is to defend academic freedom, and that's what's prevented something like this from happening to me—so far. 3/

Yep. Crap, they must really be putting the hammer down if he felt obligated to remove the Tweet in which he revealed his hospital chief had told him to stop Tweeting.
