If a person requires surgery to repair life-threatening injuries, is it ok for an for a trauma surgeon to refuse to operate on him/her because his/her race, ethnicity, or political views offends the surgeon’s “sincerely held beliefs”? Just wondering.

Yeah. That would be wrong. Because the ER doc took an oath. Stupid analogy.

The sword cuts both ways. If
@RedHenLex can refuse service for political affiliation or belief or job, why not for race, religion, hair color, body odor, clothes, body piercing, tattoos, type of car, etc. You can't have it both ways.@redhenlex was wrong or the others are not. -
The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination by race, color, religion, gender, or national origin. Political beliefs/affiliations are not listed, therefore not protected. (1/3)

In my Physician life I look after Prisoners whose crimes are worse than Sarah’s. Should we refuse to serve? Where does it stop?

Yes, and because it would be such a despicable action they would be run out of business just like how
@RedHenLex ‘s ratings are tanking right now. It’s the free market at work. The government had Jim Crow LAWS because people would serve black people and undercut all the racistsThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

They all ready do. They call the cops and black people and black people have a great chance of getting locked up, shot or killed because of it. You must have forgotten about Starbucks. Maybe Sarah will take a knee now and tell Trump not to call black people SOB's....

Is it okay for a private business to refuse service based on race? No. Is it legal? Only for businesses that are not "public accommodations"? But is it the PROPER role of government to decree who a PRIVATE BUSINESS must serve? ??

This is a dumb question. You know full well it w/not be ok to discriminate based on race. I don't agree w/restaurant but they certainly had the right to refuse SS service. If they had refused her b/c she's Caucasian or a woman, that would've been different.
