Sometimes, the flood gets to be so annoying that I am...less than civl...in my responses, not so much for first time attempted contributors (who knows?—they might figure it out on a second submission) but for repeated offenders. 4/

Yes, we do like to feature guest posts, and we could really use a couple of new regular bloggers, first to take over
@MarkCrislip's old spot (which we've been unable to fill for several months), and second to try to find talent to make our blog better. 5/Show this thread -
The problem is that the good, established bloggers usually already have their own gigs and at best might do a guest post or two for us, and new up-and-comers are very hard to find, particularly ones who "grok" what we are about and can articulate it in an engaging way. 6/

The areas in medicine where we at
@ScienceBasedMed most feel a lack of expertise are in women's health and mental health, but obviously there are lots of other areas where our regulars are not experts. That includes some basic science topics related to cancer. 8/Show this thread -
