This is a very common attitude in modern times. "I have a degree, therefore, my views in all walks of life are valid and should be considered." And also "I don't have a degree, therefore your unwillingness to consider my views is elitist/you're indoctrinated by your faculty."

I simply don't understand the complete disregard some antivax/anti abortion people have for the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of lives saved by vaccines using the cell line in question. Their disagreement w/the cell line origin doesn't negate the decades of good done.
