I've been concerned for at least that long. I have spoken out about the state of skepticism and have said publicly that I don't like to identify as a skeptic because of all the BS that's going on; the problem is that there isn't a better term. 1/2
Also, I think I have a bit of the imposter syndrome. When fans come up to tell me how much they like my work, often can't believe it/don't think I deserve it, and sometimes it even causes my anxiety levels to shoot through the roof.

I actually get this. I had a podcast (that bombed) but our handful of fans made me feel the same way.

I get that too. Strangers walk up to me and tell me how brilliant, handsome, and funny I am. Then they stop and say “Sorry, I thought you were Clay. Your Adams Apples look the same from a distance.”
