Since I wasn't invited, I guess I'll pass. I've never paid extra to hang out with skeptic celebrities.

And I know of one fairly popular celeb in the skeptic community who would pray on women who have been through significant emotional distress and depression, who needed someone to listen to them, and who were immediately bombarded with dick pics at the start of any convo. 1/2

These women are always afraid to come out against such a well respected member of the skeptic community and that's precisely why they're preyed upon. 2/2

Yes, there was also that. I started to appreciate the problem around 2010, when a female friend told me about how more experienced female TAM goers would try to protect female newbie TAM goers by warning them about the predators & trying to prevent them from being alone w/them.

Leaving aside the dick pix... Are we saying it is "predatory" for a popular man, even an authentic celebrity, to engage in sexual dalliances with admiring women in his orbit? Are we really saying that the mere fact of a woman being "in the thrall" of a man obliges him to demur?

This isn't the end of flirting or courtship as Jordan Peterson would have you believe. This is about admiring women looking up to a celebrity who will (commonly) abuse his power to turn a convo to a much more lascivious place than it ever should have been, and immediately.
