What is a cooling tower? Does that mean the university got the employee sick?
-
Towers are heat rejection plant typically serving a condensing chiller for air con purposes. Uses recirculating water to move and remove heat energy. To some extent, bacterial growth is inevitable... water is not sterile, particularly when warm.

Someone isn’t following the proper treatment protocols for cooling towers. Is someone trying to save on the maintenance budget? Or are they squeezing the water treatment supplier too hard? Completely preventable, unless incompetence! Was my field in previous live.
