Why don’t you have @gorskon on to speak about this so he can educate you about it, as a cancer surgeon I’m sure he sees lots of victims of these “therapies” https://twitter.com/seanhannity/status/1001881016083021826 …

To be honest, I don't think there would be much point. Hannity only has people on his show with opposing viewpoints so that he can harangue them. Also, I have a grant deadline.

This was an example of a subject I realized I was all wrong about through reading your blog. Maybe go on a better show (which is most of them)?

I don't know. It's really hard to explain in a convincing way in sound bites why it's such a bad idea. I don't know that I have the talent for it; I could really use a media coach or at least a warmup with a less contentious issue.

It's a tough one for sure. There's just so much rah-rah about it (from pols, patient groups, libertarians, etc.) and very little amplification of the fact that medical groups think it's a bad idea.

It's also an incredibly easy law to demagogue, and @GoldwaterInst has demagogued it brilliantly, bringing out terminally ill patients to use as shields against criticism and selling it as "freedom." And don't get me started on medical groups that failed to speak up.
