Great news really, but structured data?
Today we are announcing that the Rich Results Test fully supports all Google Search rich result features - it’s out of beta 
. In addition, we are preparing to deprecate the Structured Data Testing Tool

Happy it moved out of beta...Not a fan of the change to remove SDTT. SDTT provide functions that aren't available within the Rich Results Tool.

Uhhh.. Rich Test Result doesn’t support non-AMP articles. That going to change anytime soon?

What a colossal mistake, the Structured Data Testing Tool lets you see ALL the schema types and verify that they are being applied correctly, the Rich Results testing tool is horrible for that.

Exactly this. The Rich Results test only checks a very narrow set of Google-approved schemas, whereas the SDTT is a great way to validate ALL kinds of schema. Once again Google masks a backwards step as an upgrade.
