Hey Anthony, thanks for reaching out. Does this happen when casting other cast-enabled apps too (e.g. Netflix, Hulu)? You could try uninstalling and reinstalling your YouTube app, then try casting again. Let us know how it goes.

I can't uninstall the app but it's completely updated. Videos play when not casting.

Gotcha. You might want to try rebooting your devices (router, phone, Chromecast) to refresh your network connection. Since it's only happening on YouTube, hopefully
