@madebygoogle https://support.google.com/chromecast/thread/632847 … Is it true that 1080i/720p support has been dropped? I'm experiencing this picture issue (and on the Chromecast alone, not any other peripheral)

Hi Michael, thanks for reaching out. Could you tell us what device you're using to cast — Android , iOS, Windows or Mac? What were you casting when you experienced this?

Got it. Have you tried other apps (e.g. Netflix, Google Play Movies) and see if you get the same result? It would also help us a lot if you could send us a photo showing this so we could further look into it.

Seems like it's a YouTube issue: Netflix renders the entire frame. Below: pics of the same video, one from the TV and the other a screenshot from my phone.

Thanks for getting back to us, Michael. To make sure all sides are looked at, could you try reinstalling your YouTube app and see if it helps?

Same result from two different devices (both Android Pie) and asking a goog mini to play YT.

We appreciate your efforts. Since this is only happening when casting YouTube app, we suggest reaching out to our friends from @TeamYouTube so they could look into this and provide additional help.
