How is the @googledrive web interface such a nightmare? Everytime I go looking for something, I end up wishing I had just used a local file browser on a synced folder.

Thanks for the link, but yes, I am familiar with how to use the interface. My issue isn't not knowing, it's that the UI doesn't facilitate a clean UX. There are at least 4 different ways to browse files, all populate files differently, and none are straight-forward.

Don't get me wrong, I use GDrive personally, and have now used it in three different professional environments - overall, it does the job. But the UI / UX is badly lacking.

FWIW, the one-way comment mechanism that Google uses broadly throughout it's products doesn't exactly encourage continued customer feedback. When time spent submitting feedback disappears into /dev/null, why continue?
