Tumbling Apart

If you love games that stick, this is the one you've been waiting for. The punk rock of indies. It's Dylan blaring electric while critics are stuck on acoustic.

Anyone can craft a story that they alone feel is brilliant. The real skill of storytelling is convincing others to feel the same way you do.

Creating sfx to replicate the sound of a gun butt cracking against a skull. Gunshots are easy but this aint. Turns out you can't crack skulls without getting into trouble. Bats are used against cardboard, onions, and beef. The one at 9 secs will do.

It's a tough industry, and we have to support one another. Check out someone else's work, take a moment to provide REAL and thoughtful feedback, and care. You never know what 20 seconds of time can do for another person.

Audio is often overlooked in but sound can elicit some of the strongest emotions within us. Here's a particular cut that I think is pretty effective at creating an "unsettling" vibe for use in a Tumbling Apart. Be warned this may be disturbing to some.

Most artists will have peaks and valleys in their work, but they can never CEASE to create. It's in their blood. It's a part of, or perhaps THE defining characteristic of their personhood. It comes instinctively, like the beating of your heart.

Still toying with the aesthetics of the message system. I'm definitely going to give each character a unique color for their text boxes.

So these canvases are empty and it would be pretty neat to feature people's art in Tumbling Apart. Send a DM if you want your work in the museum. Artists unite and stuff, yo.
