My heart is bursting. On the eve of my first child's birth, my dad - who's been in prison nearly my entire life - was granted clemency. He never intended harm, yet his crime devastated many families. My heart breaks for the families that can never get their loved ones back.

Their deaths were a direct result of his decision to rob the armored car for his own personal benefit. Was it not?

The way that murder works is that someone kills another person, in this case with a gun. Boudin's father was not armed and did not kill anyone. Hope that clears things up for you.

He made the decision to be involved with an armed robbery with semi automatic weapons. He is responsible for their deaths.

He decided to commit a crime, which was robbery. He's served 40 years. He didn't kill anyone. He's not responsible for murders he didn't commit. Are you a republican?

None of you guys seem to know what felony murder is. If an armed militia plans on committing a robbery and during the act people die, then everyone is responsible. It doesn't matter who fired the fatal shots. Their actions were a direct cause of the death. No robbery no death

Actually, killing someone or attempting to kill someone is a direct action that leads to someone's death. Felony murder laws are bad, actually.

I gave the scenario that Gilbert was in when he committed the felony murder. He was part of an armed anarchist militia. So you believe only the person who shoots the fatal bullet should be responsible and the getaway drivers and even person who fires and misses should get off.
