Dear : As you advertise the authenticity of Warhol's "five original drawings" on the NFT blockchain, I'm concerned that your collectors might be confused about what they're bidding on—since you're not auctioning the originals, which were created at 320x200.

I'm legit curious whether anyone at stopped to wonder how Warhol could make a 6000x4500-pixel image in 1985. Did they think, "that's odd"? or "27MP, wow, he was way ahead of his time"? or "whatever; collectors expect hi-res from blue-chip art"? or just "ZOMG NFT$$"

It should be clear that a 6000x4500 image in Amiga's uncompressed .PIC format could not possibly fit on a 1.4MB floppy, nor in the Amiga 1000's 512kb RAM. I'm not sure if your collectors care that they're bidding on a secondary by-product, but I would.

Cultural institutions, galleries and publishers constantly think that "high resolution" means "best-quality" or "original". This totally fails for low-resolution originals, such as the actual originals of the Warhol Amiga drawings, which were created at 320x200.

It gets hairier than this. Warhol's Amiga images were created with *non-square pixels* (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pixel_asp), with a roughly 0.9 (H:W) aspect ratio. To view these properly today, should these be upscaled in the file itself, or at the final stage of rendering to the screen?

Andy Warhol developed his artworks on an Amiga at 320x200 resolution, because that was the size of graphics framebuffers at the time.

Leaving aside the nature of NFTs for the moment (a hash of a signature of a transaction etc.), what would an original be? Warhol's digital art was saved in a pre-release version of an obsolete Amiga file format, PLBM. Is it OK to convert this to a more easily-readable PNG?
