within a few years, it won't be wise to consider anything as having originated from a 'real event' or even 'real person' unless it's crypto-signed by high-reputation keys.

in near future, law enforcement should be required to declare actions in an area not just by costumes or yells, but a local cryptographically-signed broadcast that any nearby consumer-grade personal device can receive, authenticate, & report to its user
