    The second day of the development meetup at the European Space Research and Technology Centre went really well! Got some filter code merged, worked on updating gr-verilog to GR 3.8, and am mainlining the Latency Manager blocks.

    Spent some time on the codebase, and we're down by 25 pull requests since yesterday. Still 56 open though. Want to help? We could use some eyes reviewing code. The most difficult cases for review are build-related issues, since they have to work on so many systems.

    First time received and decoded a few frames from satellite with a home made UHF turnstile antenna. Changed the sampling rate to 300k and added a high-pass filter from in code from gr-opssat. Added 433 MHz SAW filter and LNA to antenna.

    New standalone AAUSAT-4 decoder added to gr-satellites maint-3.8. gr-aausat is no longer required. The new decoder uses FECAPI Viterbi decoder and a libfec Reed-Solomon decoder rather than the custom implementation in gr-aausat.

    Just added soft decoder for the RA codes used by and ATL-1 in gr-satellites maint-3.8. This change increases the decoding sensitivity compared to the former hard bits decoder.
