I am an adult gay male. I don’t want special treatment. I don’t want a ” service” run by Common Purpose idiots. I want a police force run by seasoned officers who enforce the law, and are respected by the people they serve. This is a patronising and embarrassing PR disaster.

Here's a thought... stop with all this pc, virtue signalling nonsense and do your damn job. In a time of rising crime, lack of police visibility this really isn't what the public want to see. Badly misjudged the public mood.
-
They're pretty quick to cry foul of budget cuts but not helping themselves with public opinion by doing this sort of rubbish

Perhaps instead of being inclusive, here is a radical thought do your F**king jobs. No one cares if you are gay, straight or identify as a shoe. Do your f**king jobs, or should I say have PRIDE in your work by cleaning up the scum you seem to ignore 24/7. GMP is a joke
-
Aw they'll be so upset by your comment they may not be able to get out on streets today.

Robert. Otherwise the police would now be called “Johnnies”. Which only applies to Manchester police.

I looked at the rust on the van, parked on double yellow lines, near a junction and thought ‘definitely a wind-up’. Then I saw that blue tick. Honestly,
@GMPBoltonCentre - this is almost too embarrassing for words. -
Completely failing to judge the public mood. Appalling.
-
Isn't the public mood to have more Police patrolling the streets?
-
Of course...
-
Quite simple isn't it. The next time I hear a Police Force crying over money I'll show them this (and many other) photo
-
Just remember that when The Police suffer, you suffer. Just because some are paid to do god knows what don’t think that the vast majority on duty that day weren’t: A) working hard B) equally annoyed that whilst they’re working hard someone is getting paid to do this.
-
Whos said they don't? I'd imagine the large majority of the Police hate these type of things. However. The next time the PCC comes on the TV or radio crying about lack of money these type of photos should be shoved in his face.
-
You are right. Just be careful we don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
