    Niece is in charge of a COVID Ward in a Melbourne hospital and the staff had leave cancelled for Xmas, so I don't want to see anyone whinging about not being able to go to a Xmas party or out for a meal, think of the front line workers doing it really tough again

    Agreed. But the same is true of vitamin A enriched Golden Rice, which like the vaccine is also produced using genetic engineering, whose use in agriculture you have demonised relentlessly.

    How many more more accounts of dying patients saying "I wish I'd had the vaccine" will we have to read? Those who make misleading claims about covid vaccines being dangerous or unnecessary, and persuade others that this is true, are killing people.

    Even if there are rules and regulations, behaviour change still only happens amongst the most privileged because they don’t have to go out: they can online shop and work from home. Restrictions don’t work for people who are essential workers who live with many others.

    One of my favourite news stories this week is Ron Barassi, age 85, back in the gym less than a month after his Covid infection because he is vaccinated. After seeing so many older adults die from Covid, it is so wonderful to see people make a full recovery!
