Newsworthy? Actionable? Acceptable?

Someone was breaking into David Cottes's condo, he had someone call the police while he got his licensed firearm and went to check things out. Police showed up and promptly shot David, handcuffed him, then dragged his body onto the elevator (video on page) local10.com/news/local/202

Thanks! When Barr resigned, he thought 100's of highly placed seditionists were going to jail. Even he's amazed that his DoJ castration was so effective.
Quote Tweet
“Bill Barr is a big improvement. For starters, he believes in the rule of law and the DOJ's mission.” This man has been consistently wrong for 7 years. Anyone, please, feel free to show me where he has made a correct prediction. Just one. twitter.com/harrylitman/st…

In New Mexico, we know the Chinese balloon is a weather balloon. Mark Ronchetti told us, on his blog about Miracle Whip as a salsa.

Moore v Harper 2.0+. Thanks NC & SCOTUS. Merrill v Milligan from Alabama also. Marc, didn't SCOTUS tip their hand, by docketing these 2 cases?

If you are first reading about the North Carolina Supreme Court’s decision to rehear two recent voting cases, here is what I wrote last week. democracydocket.com/opinion/the-la
NPR's "On Point", great preface 4 new film about Eichmann's missing interviews. Debunking "The Banality of Evil" as it's theme. Evil is NEVER vanquished by pearl clutching. Hope moderate Dems can notice, the actual evil unleashed by 45 isn't going away.

When they go low, we go high. And when we go high—they ban books, take away women's autonomy, destroy public education, outlaw gay marriage, deny people of color the right to vote, and gut social security. Maybe when they go low, we should fight like hell.

Correct. This travesty of justice isn't new, we just need to stop it. We're overdue in the streets.

We have not had accountability in any branch of government in my lifetime the closest we came with the Nixon impeachment. We almost had accountability but Nixon was not prosecuted so no accountability, then we had Regan and Iran - Contra which was blamed on Ollie North and others

Agreed. Kroger/Albertsons merger outrage also short lived. Our complacency is incredible.

Fabulous! I double dog dare them to call for protest marches. BLM/George Floyd marches were so successful that the mainstream never wants us in the streets again. Multi-prong Vietnam protests had profound effects. Or whine some more.

Great article. Even 4 Rolling Stone, the jump to revolution B4 protests is naive. Although Rolling Stone did save that lil girl who could start fires, with her mind.

Every day is another slap in the face. The wheels of "justice" are grinding to a halt and our law enforcement exposes themselves as nothing more than security for corporations. medium.com/@quaddle/a-rol

Great article. Russia Russia Russia really needs to be messaged. Russia's actually the Santos story, also.

Mainstream Dems still terrified of messaging: "We were always right about Russia". They would say "wardrobe malfunction" if their d*ck was caught in their zipper. I don't care that it's non-intrusive.
Quote Tweet
It appears that “Russiagate” is the never ending story? Now that the original investigators were investigated by Durham, he’s now being investigated! The investigators investigating investigators are now being investigated! 😎

Great NPR broadcast about this movie. A main point is "The Banality of Evil" was a grossly inaccurate legal ploy, at Nuremberg. I'm sure there aren't any parallels within J6, 45's administration, & an ongoing, unprosecuted coup.
1
Almost to the point where Dems can utter "Congressional seditionists"?
Quote Tweet
JUST IN: Matt Gaetz introduced an amendment in the House Judiciary Committee to recite the Pledge of Allegiance prior to each meeting. Rep. David Cicilline countered with an amendment prohibiting “anyone who supported insurrection” from leading the pledge. Makes perfect sense.

I'm pleased that Russia×3 is messaging well, again. Intrater, Vekselberg & Russia buying Santos a House seat for $700k doesn't get much play.

Jesus Christ this story is brutal. Russia got us so good. It’s embarrassing how owned we are. twitter.com/craigunger/sta…

Ex FBI Director Freeh becoming extremely wealthy in retirement seems newsworthy.
Quote Tweet
"As FBI director, Freeh had warned that Russian organized crime posed a grave threat to the United States that far transcended mere criminality. It is not clear how much he was paid by Prevezon after he switched sides, but Freeh later bought a $9.38 million mansion in Palm Beach" twitter.com/craigunger/sta…

Lakers let Caruso, Caldwell-Pope & Kuzma leave. GM's don't get enough blame. Or enough credit, like Celtic's Brad Stevens.
Quote Tweet
What a possession from Caruso. Watch him the whole time. He preswitches on the pick-and-roll because he WANTS Kawhi. Stops him twice, then steals the rebound from Zubac.

Awesome, now Garland/Monaco need to do the same. Our DoJ is defending 45's E Jean Carroll case. Open partisanship & corruption.

Great receipts. Ducey/AZ spent Fed covid $ on golf course irritation. Noem/SD spent it on tourism ads. Open theft/cronyism, zero consequences.

Imminent is probably an exaggeration. Fani is up against institutionalists in both parties, corrupt courts, potential grand jury & jury tampering. Inevitable tampering? NY & The Feds both caved to pressure. Fani won't, but she's in a sea of heavy influence & corruption.
Quote Tweet

I didn't get the windmill part. Yes, that's why it's disappointing that she would use the word imminent when all of that work is yet to be done. I understood the second grand jury was the one being held on 1/25 so this is very disappointing to me. "Imminent" is meaningless.
2
A 2nd grand jury has to be convened to issue any indictments. The delays & challenges in getting 45(&others) to testify will huge, & will be appealed. Illegal pressure & behavior of judges hearing challenges is legally scary. I don't doubt Fani, but open corruption like NY?

Please read this thread if you care about what happened. The coup started in 2016. Roger Stone came up with stop the Steal in case Trump lost that election. So when he did lose in 2020 they were able to hit the ground running. So we’re into the 7th year of the coup twitter.com/TimothyDSnyder…

I’m going to assume your callousness in using this saying on Holocaust Remembrance Day is more ignorant than malicious, but you should know that it was first said by a German philosopher about Nazis ultimately coming for the Jews. #LessonsforJim twitter.com/Jim_Jordan/sta…
