I've long suspected that brands with enough financial investment in Twitter ad campaigns had a wealth of expansive tools available to them to ensure that operations went smoothly, but what's hilarious to me is that none of them are actually helping this burning ship.
Twitter is quickly becoming the holy grail for social media reputation management, tools that allow you to not only cancel content for your campaign on the fly but erase its existence if it fails, keeping you from having any sort of negative consequences for that campaign.
That would be great if the marketing was kept separate from personal engagements, but this kind of free reign in the same forum as interpersonal discussion is extremely Not Great for the average user lmao.
Pretty sure you can get any account you have access to suspended by setting the birth date younger than the twitter TOS. (Done it by accident before). That said, I do think twitter provides more services for bigger accounts.
This is almost certainly true. Paid programs already exist that use Twitter's API to scrub Twitter for mentions of a certain brand or phrase. You can recreate a similar system yourself by using Tweetdeck.
This needs to be blown up in their faces.
When I see names like that and suspensions I figure these were child porn accounts, and tied to planters no less.
