    Good to know, given I can't sleep unless the room is cold. Windows open during the winter, AC set to the lowest possible during the warm months. Even slightly warm and I'm not sleeping.

    Turning on the AC (66 degrees) or sleeping with the windows open in the winter, may subtly double your stores of brown fat, the "good" fat stimulated by cold temps that serves to keep us warm by burning through "bad" fat stores.
