It's kinda weird to me how the section around making a career in OW was mentioned, given that it's from a local context. SA teams can get more xp from playing in intl leagues/cups, but will only ever be able to reach even Contenders level if they move overseas imo.

For me the closest thing I can relate to this is bvd in the t2 scene in NA CS - they had to make the move there. At super high levels, OW's ping compensation is no longer forgiving enough to high pingers, which is why this comparison to CS holds true for me.
