The Senate acquitting Trump will be tantamount to Congress neutering itself. It will represent Congress giving a green light to Trump to use any & all Congressional appropriations for his personal errands. It will signal an end of congressional oversight of the administration.

Glenn, When the Senate acquits Trump, where is the check and balance on a Constitution-destroying decision from this Senate? An appeal to the Supreme Court? No. Vote GOP out of office in November? Not if Trump has carte blanche to cheat with international help. What can we do?
