So, if you're seeing big indexing problems and you keep focusing on just *specific urls* not being indexed, then you could be missing the forest for the trees. Focus on improving site quality overall, and over the long-term. Site quality is super-important (clearly).

Or it may just be Google's being lazy. I've experienced indexing problems on a website where quality was built in right from the start. Every URL was designed with the search user in mind, no tech issues, etc. Still, 50% of URLs are crawled not indexed from Jan up until now. 🤷‍♂️

Couldn't agree more. I'm working on a site not using canonical pages with up to 10 parameters site wide with an individual sitemap for each instance. Search console feels like a never ending scroll of discovered not indexed pages, duplicate etc. I had John Mu quote at them. :p

Yo how much influence is assigned to internal in ound links when discusding inexing of new content? In my mind internal in bound links are the key to Indexing new content for your blog or we site. What is your opinion about the value of internal inbound links here ?
