One option is visiting his YouTube Channel, I would think that YouTube also view this as an interaction since it automatically leads to viewing the video he has featured. They would want channel visits to also reflect genuine user engagement + not as a requirement for a giveaway.

So because the video auto-plays that's considered a violation? Jeez, that's rough for creators wanting to cross promote their channel. Especially when you can link it elsewhere with no issues.

Agree, but we removed all actions that asked for engagement to be compliant (Subscribe/Comment/View).
Jay is simply asking users to Visit his channel (which asks or requires no metrics to be manipulated).
Really need some clarity from @TeamYouTube on this.
