Fun fact: the indies that got hit hard by Steam's algorithm change (many of whom have kickass games that were doing well before) are now having the worst Steam sale they've ever seen. So yep, that's permanent. Not a thing they can climb out of with a really good sale. Hooray.

The recommendations have been getting really weird for me too. Although at least it has the side effect of being able to fly through an even more useless than normal suggestions queue.
