    This security measure is Based on location. In areas where these products are stolen heavily, they place these alarms on them. I’ve seen plenty of Walgreens and Duane Reade stores where black hair products are not locked up. Still feels incriminating nevertheless.

    My girlfriend is at Duane Reade and just sent me this video showing that typically Black hair products are locked up with security measures, versus the white ones. As soon as she took a Black product, the security came to “ask if she needed help”. Seriously, ?

    I successfully made it through my movement class in New York last night and I sweated my ass off! Like more than usual. I’m proud of myself for doing the hard thing, which was willing my body to a healthy place proper enough to lead a full 2 hour class 🙏🏾🙏🏾

    We all, as humans, have the right to bodily autonomy. Violating this in any way infringes on our very humanity and holds us back as a species. Every story is unique and we can never fully understand someone else's experience; please remember this before choosing to shame.

    Female bodies are being attacked in a major way, and our reproductive rights are now being turned into criminal acts. Pro life means caring for the lives of mother and baby, not throwing away the mother because of your opinion of what life means.
