EARNED BENEFITS, not entitlements.
Democrats need to do a better job of explainimg the term "entitlement". In this case, it means the amount to which a person has a *right*. They have let the GOP pervert the term into something never intended.

Don't blame Dems, it's our media that never pointed out the GOP is lying when trying to misstate the actual meaning of the word "entitled". It's up to all of us to push back on double speak propaganda when we hear it.

True, but they need to make it a talking point. The GOP is very good at coordinating talking points on their side. While it is smart to focus on local issues during elections, there should be some points that everyone emphasizes. This is one of them.

Entitled means we have a direct right to it that we work for it an entitlement is something given by the government to like people on Medicaid food stamps etc etc
