Hello from the Georgia State Capitol, where these dice are about to kick off Georgia’s statewide risk-limiting batch audit of the Secretary of State’s race, “as part of a continuing process to make elections boring again,” @GabrielSterling says. #gapol

County election officials conduct post-election audits to give voters confidence in election outcomes.
One of these is a risk-limiting audit (RLA), which uses statistics to confirm the winners truly won.

If optically scanned ballots are not accurate, what does that say about the standardized tests I have taken since I was in grade school?

This is exactly why after 23 years in the field, I’ll never say I’ve seen it all. 64 voters filled in the middle “O” initial! Impressive!

Love this, love this recount case -- NYS Court decides to count additional votes for a now-victorious John O. Jacoby where instead of filling in the bubble next to his name, voters filled in the giant middle initial "O". cc: @dkelections buffalonews.com/news/local/gov

The 2020 elections were run w/ integrity, the results certified by the county & state were accurate, & the 2 independent audits conducted by the County are the true final word on the subject. We know auditing. The Senate Cyber Ninja audit is not a real audit. #azsenateaudit

1/ We're almost at the end of the 2020 General Election Audit Season. We're proud of the work we did to help election officials build confidence in their vote tabulation – the one critical part of voting that requires electronics, and thus needs to be thoroughly audited.

1/ The team has been working around the clock for the last week to support the State of Georgia in running their first state-wide risk-limiting audit, which turned into a full hand-count.

We just wrapped up our work supporting Georgia with their post-election audit. Because of the tight margin, this audit turned into the largest hand-count in US history.

1/ This piece on Georgia elections is unfortunately misleading. So close to an election, this fear-mongering is very counter-productive.
