It's not a matter of features or speed, I am not stating that FF is the best of both world. Simply, FF is open source, most of those you cited not. Linux Foundation supports digital sustainability, and so does the Linux env in general

They are "so open source". You can get the whole codebase. Widewine is an external plugin, from which you can opt out. Btw, widewine is provided in chrome, opera and Vivaldi too. Not enough? Here you are: Iceweasel.

Therefore, it's nonsense to expect that Linux Foundation promotes Google alternatives, and I hoped this would have been nonsense for a quite popular tw account with "Linux" in its name too.
